Orangevolt Syntax Highlight is a unobtrusive Javascript which can easily be embedded in almost any webpage,blog and any other publishing system available on the Internet.
I wrote this really small Javascript library to easily embed syntax highlighted source code snippets into my Blogger.com (aka Blogspot.com, also known as Google Blog Hosting) account but can also be used for almost any other web publishing system (or even static web pages).
Orangevolt Syntax Highlight is based on Prototype for Ajax/Javascript and GeSHi for rendering the syntax highlighting.
The package requires thee inclusion of a few Javascript files in your webpage (or even template) and a PHP page running somewhere else in the Internet. To use it you don't really need your own PHP enables webhost - use a free one for the PHP part .
The Orangevolt Syntax Highlight is highlighly customizable by using CSS.
The supported source languages are extensible using a simple templating mechanism
